The American Association of Orthodontist recommends a child’s initial orthodontic evaluation should occur at age 7. At this early age, treatment may not be necessary, but a consultation can anticipate the best time to begin treatment. When is Phase I Orthodontics Recommended?
Early orthodontic treatment may be recommended when a child has concerns such as:

What happens after Phase I?
After phase I treatment, your child will enter a period of observation while their permanent teeth continue to erupt and their jaws develop. When appropriate, a second phase of treatment can later fine tune the bite and alignment for a healthy, beautiful smile.
